? TUESDAY

Circle Way: A swimmer was helped after he was stung by a sting ray. The barb was lodged in his abdomen, and he was having muscle spasms and difficulty breathing at 2:45 p.m. in the 1300 block at Crescent Bay beach.

Cleo Street: An Aliso Viejo woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at 1:52 a.m. in the 100 block.

Cliff Street: An 85-pound juvenile elephant seal with a wound on the side of its head was rescued from the beach by the Marine Mammal Center and city employees who were called to help lift it at Fisherman’s Beach in the 600 block.

Coast Highway: A cellphone and two CDs were reported taken from a vehicle at 11:55 a.m. in the 30800 block.

Glenneyre Street: ID was reportedly used to open a fraudulent phone account and $985 charged in the 600 block.

North Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa man was arrested at 11:52 p.m. after a traffic stop in the 600 block.

Park Avenue: Tools were reported stolen by a construction worker at 3:10 p.m. in the 800 block.

Pearl Street: A pedestrian was struck in the hands and knees by a vehicle that allegedly did not stop while in a crosswalk at 7:25 a.m. at South Coast Highway.

South Coast Highway: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:37 a.m. after being pulled over for allegedly speeding at Legion Street.

? MONDAY

Broadway: One man was arrested on suspicion of drinking in public and another on suspicion of public intoxication after one allegedly punched the other at 7:14 p.m. at the bus depot in the 300 block.

Glenneyre Street: A Santa Ana resident was arrested at 1:23 a.m. on suspicion of stealing liquor from a store in the 800 block.

La Mirada Street: Credit cards, a Rolex watch and Vicodin were reported stolen at 10:02 p.m. from a residence in the 1000 block.

Moss Point: A kite surfer who was drifting and appeared to be in trouble was brought to shore by lifeguards at 2:11 p.m.

? SUNDAY

Coast Highway: A fire in the garage of a vacant house was reported at 11 a.m. and put out by firefighters in 15 minutes in the 31000 block.

Glenneyre Street: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and another man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession at 12:45 a.m. at a market in the 800 block.

Laguna Canyon Road: A motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries including facial bleeding and another person sustained minor injuries after an accident at 3:28 p.m. at El Toro Road.

South Coast Highway: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he fell in a bar at 12:08 a.m. in the 400 block.

South Coast Highway: An Irvine woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:12 a.m. in the 600 block.

? SATURDAY

Lupin Place: A break-in was reported at 9:15 a.m. in which nothing was stolen but pictures were turned upside down and things were moved around at a residence in the 31800 block.

Park Avenue: An iPod was reported stolen at 1:02 p.m. at a school in the 600 block.

Thalia Street: A Laguna Beach juvenile girl was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 7:20 a.m. after allegedly running a stop sign and hitting a car at Catalina Street.

Wendt Terrace: Twelve kids were reported going downhill on skateboards lying down at 4:15 p.m. near Park Avenue.

? FRIDAY

Boat Canyon: A Corona del Mar man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession at 3:56 a.m. after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway.

South Coast Highway: Flooding was reported, with cars half under water, at 1:33 p.m. in the 31800 block.

Pacific Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 3:13 p.m. at West Street.

North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 8:37 p.m. after he was seen allegedly drinking beer in a vehicle in the 1000 block.

Ocean Avenue: A three-vehicle collision with no injuries occurred at 7:12 a.m. and one man was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Reed Street: Computers were reported stolen at 9:12 a.m. in a break-in that occurred the previous Saturday at a vacant home in the 500 block.

South Coast Highway: A person was injured running for a bus, hitting their head and twisting an ankle, and was taken to South Coast Medical Center for treatment at 1:41 p.m. in the 1100 block.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 10:31 a.m. in the 600 block.

Thalia Street: A San Diego man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at 2:46 a.m. at South Coast Highway.

? THURSDAY

Boat Canyon: A Mammoth Lakes man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:47 a.m. at North Coast Highway.

Morningside Drive: An ATM number was reported as used to purchase items at 9:49 a.m., resulting in a loss of $800 in the 1200 block.

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 10:53 a.m. in the 100 block.

Park Avenue: Students were reported under the influence of marijuana at 12:53 p.m. at a school in the 600 block.

Thalia Street: A Corona del Mar man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:18 p.m. at Wilson Street.

Wilson Street: A radio was reported taken from a vehicle at 2:10 a.m. in the 900 block.

? WEDNESDAY

Brooks Street: A Tustin woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:26 a.m. in the 100 block.

Pacific Coast Highway: A $4,800 painting was reported stolen at 4:56 p.m. from a gallery at a hotel in the 30800 block.

Hillcrest Drive: A Laguna Beach juvenile was issued a citation for drug possession at 4:27 p.m. in the 600 block.
