Blue whale trip for Susi Q members

The Ocean Institute has invited members of the Susi Q Senior Center to “An Afternoon at Sea” Blue Whale Cruise from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 14. The RV Sea Explorer will travel in search of the largest animal on Earth — the blue whale.

The cost is $20 per person, including light refreshments. The trip leaves from the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. To sign up, contact Jonathan Witt at (949) 496-2274.

Learn how to use a USB flash drive

Lee Rhodes teaches a class today in how to use small computer memory devices to save, open and transfer files. The class will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. The cost is $15 and includes a 2GB flash drive. To sign up call (949) 497-2441.
