CERRITOS — Samantha Hansen came off the bench to lead the Pirates with 21 on nine-of-11 shooting in the nonconference game Wednesday.

Hansen also grabbed eight rebounds. Amanda Deal added 10 points, while Danielle Keneipp and Melissa Mahi scored nine points each for OCC (2-2), which shot 53% from the field.

After OCC tied the game at 66 with 54 seconds left in regulation, neither team scored, which sent the game to overtime. The Pirates scored the first six points in the extra period, thanks in part to a three-pointer from Michelle Yamasaki.
