Area 1

Cliff Drive: $300 in cash and a $50 gas card were reported stolen from a backpack at Picnic Beach in the 400 block at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Crescent Bay Drive: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 3:34 a.m. Dec. 24.

Lower Cliff Drive: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of drinking in public in the 200 block at 12:23 p.m. Saturday.

Nestall Road: A fraudulent MoneyGram with a loss of $7,550 was reported in the 3000 block at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Wave Street: A Mission Viejo resident was cited for drug possession after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 1:50 a.m. Dec. 23.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon road: Socks and razor blades, totaling $10, were reported stolen from the Alternative Sleeping Location in the 1900 block at 12:53 p.m. Dec. 24.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1000 block after at traffic stop at 2:02 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A motorcyclist was taken to Saddleback Hospital for treatment after running into a vehicle in the 2900 block at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 3

Beach Street: A San Clemente woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Broadway at 10:41 p.m. Dec. 25.

Broadway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at the bus depot in the 300 block at 5:01 p.m. Saturday.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was arrested after five homeless people were reported making noise by banging on things and swearing at people in the 200 block at 5:40 p.m. Saturday.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was cited for making a disturbance after four were reported banging on pots at South Coast Highway at 2:46 p.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Avenue: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Glenneyre Street at 2:26 a.m. Sunday.

Park Avenue: A mailbox was reported pried open, resulting in damage of $65, in the 800 block at 12:49 p.m. Sunday.

Temple Hills Drive: Paramedics were called when a 5-year-old fell off a skateboard and was knocked out in the 800 block at 1:42 p.m. Dec. 25.

Area 4

Bluebird Canyon Drive: All four tires were reported slashed on a vehicle, a loss of $800, in the 800 block at 5:28 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: The side window of a vehicle was reported pried open in an attempted burglary in the 1400 block at 5:05 a.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of stealing food from a hotel break room in the 1500 block at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday.

Area 5

Coast Highway: A Ladera Ranch man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 30000 block after a traffic stop at 12:43 a.m. Dec. 23.

Coast Highway: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and a Costa Mesa man arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, after police stopped their vehicle for reckless driving in the 30000 block at 8:12 p.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: A shop door was reported broken by an irate customer, who promised to make pay restitution of $200 to $300, in the 31000 block at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Holly Drive: A $2,200 purse, described as beige and maroon-colored lamb, was reported stolen in the 400 block at 12:34 p.m. Sunday.
