Rededication celebration

Laguna Presbyterian Church will celebrate returning to the newly restored Sanctuary during the 8:30 and 10 a.m. Sunday worship services.

A procession led by a bagpiper, a prayer from Iona Abbey in Scotland, celebrating their Scottish heritage, and portions of the original dedication service 84 years ago will be included in an intergenerational service of thanksgiving.

The completed project, begun 2 1/2 years ago, protects the historic building from earthquakes and water intrusion, expands the youth center, features a world class sound system, and restores its Spanish Mission Style interior.
