‘Path to happiness’ seminar Thursday

The Chakra Shack is sponsoring a one-hour seminar by Veeder South on the topic “Discover the path to authentic happiness,” at 4 p.m. Thursday at 397 N. Coast Hwy.

The program is designed to help people balance core personality traits with their inner life force [chakra] to achieve greater satisfaction and build better relationships at home, at work and in personal lives.

“The energy of consciousness is the way people relate with each other,” South said. “When two people connect in a relationship, any kind of relationship, they are experiencing resonance in conscious energy between them. The way they exchange this form of mental energy is through their personalities.”

According to South, Eastern medicine teaches that when the life-force energy in a person is balanced and freely flowing in each of their seven chakra centers of consciousness, there is a foundation for improved health, happiness and meaning in life.

Balance in one’s own life is critical to relationships with others, and these “conscious relationships” have the potential to last a lifetime.

South has incorporated the program into a book titled “The Path of Advanced Awareness to Conscious Relationships” that includes a series of self-assessments to help people define their individual path toward higher consciousness, which is available at Chakra Shack. The program is also accessible online or as a CD in-home tutorial.

South holds a PhD in energy and kinetics from UCLA. He founded Advanced Awareness in 2007.

He has been a professor of engineering and managed several businesses during his 30-year career.

The mission of Advanced Awareness is to help people develop personal happiness and meaning in life though the application of Eastern philosophy and Western psychology.
