Satisfy My Soul fashion show

The White House Restaurant in Laguna Beach held a high-fashion show with runway models and some of the latest fashions by local designers on Aug. 2.

Called “Poppin’ Bottles with Models,” the event was organized by Inas Azzam, owner of clothing boutique Satisfy My Soul. The show was one of a series and Azzam promises more to follow.

“We want to bring awareness to Laguna Beach as an artistic fashion center,” Azzam said. “We’re not just sending models down the catwalk. Each show is an elaborate production.”

Fashions from three Orange County designers were on display at the show, including Annie and Jade, a women’s dress line; Ferocious; and denim designer Giovanni.

With an Asian theme, “Poppin’ Bottles with Models” attracted hundreds of people to the White House on First Thursday Art Walk night. More than one dozen models, both male and female, strutted down the runway as onlookers took pictures and perused their outfits.

Following the fashion shows, the clothing items displayed by the models sells out quickly, Azzam said. The next fashion show, planned for October, will have a Middle Eastern theme.

Satisfy My Soul carries designer brand clothing and accessories for men and women. In business for 10 years, the store is located at 236 Laguna Ave., Laguna Beach.
