Area 1

Aster Street: A Ladera Ranch man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 9:13 p.m. Monday.

Crescent Bay Drive: A man who threatened to jump off cliffs in the 200 block was taken into custody at 3:56 p.m. Monday.

Cypress Drive: Mail was reported stolen in the 400 block at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday.

Jasmine Street: A Fullerton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 2:09 a.m. Sunday.

North Coast Highway: One person was reported severely injured and two others also injured after a vehicle broadsided another vehicle at Chiquita Street at 4:37 p.m. Aug. 25.

North Coast Highway: A vehicle was reported burglarized after the back window was broken at a hotel in the 200 block at 9:26 a.m. Aug. 27.

North Coast Highway: A Balboa Island woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after she was reported to be wandering in traffic at Emerald Bay at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Canyon Acres Drive: A mountain lion was reported on a trail in the 500 block at 7:23 a.m. Aug. 25.

Canyon Acres Drive: A rattlesnake was reported and retrieved by animal control officers in the 500 block at 1:44 p.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A man was arrested on suspicion of stalking a female employee at an art festival in the 900 block at 7:16 p.m. Aug. 25.

Laguna Canyon Road: A bicycle was reported stolen from a student housing facility in the 700 block at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 27.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Santa Ana woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and a man held on suspicion of violating a restraining order in the 2000 block at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A rattlesnake was retrieved by animal control officers in the 2000 block at 8:01 a.m. Monday.

Raquel Road: A purse, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen from a vehicle after the window was smashed in the 20000 block at 8:48 a.m. Saturday.

Alta Laguna Boulevard: A Westminster man was issued a citation for drug possession in the 3000 block at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Broadway: A homeless man was issued a citation for public intoxication at the bus depot in the 300 block at 4:03 p.m. Aug. 25.

Broadway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery on a woman at the bus depot in the 300 block at 4:34 p.m. Aug. 25.

Broadway: A restroom sink was reported shattered after falling off the wall due to rusty supports at a public bathroom in the 300 block at 2:25 a.m. Aug. 25.

Broadway: A woman was issued a citation for sleeping in a vehicle in an underground parking garage in the 300 block at 6:25 a.m. Monday.

Catalina Street: A Costa Mesa man was issued a citation for drug possession in the 500 block at 2:37 a.m. Aug. 27.

El Bosque: Medications valued at more than $200 were reported stolen in the 400 block at 6:42 p.m. Aug. 27.

Forest Avenue: A San Diego woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after she was parked in a red zone in the 500 block at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 26.

Forest Avenue: A Camp Pendleton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Glenneyre Street at 1:53 a.m. Saturday.

Glenneyre Street: A car was reported keyed in the 400 block at 9:55 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Avenue: A Laguna Niguel woman was issued a citation for DUI at South Coast Highway at 3:35 a.m. Sunday.

Ocean Avenue: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Beach Street at 2:37 a.m. Saturday.

Ocean Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was issued a citation for drinking in public in the 300 block at 2:16 p.m. Sunday.

Ocean Avenue: Money was reported removed from a bank account by fraud at a bank in the 200 block at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday.

Park Place: Credit card fraud in the amount of $700 was reported in the 2000 block at 11:44 a.m. Aug. 26.

Rockpile Beach: A sea gull with fishing wire in its mouth was reported at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A woman soliciting money was issued a citation after refusing to leave a market in the 700 block at 4:56 p.m. Aug. 26.

South Coast Highway: A Venice man and a Pennsylvania man were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at a market in the 700 block at 9:49 p.m. Aug. 27.

South Coast Highway: A man was arrested on assault charges in the 700 block at 12:09 a.m. Saturday.

Third Street: A homeless man was issued a citation for illegal camping in the 300 block at 6:05 a.m. Saturday.

Zell Drive: A UPS package containing a $350 fireplace mantle was reported stolen after being left in a garage in the 2000 block at 8:16 a.m. Aug. 27.

Cress Street: A 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, both from Irvine, were cited for violating curfew in the 100 block at 3:58 a.m. Saturday.

Ocean Way: A Lake Forest man was issued a citation for indecent exposure in the 1900 block of the beach at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Pearl Street: Eight skateboarders were reported in the roadway in the 600 block at 12:55 p.m. Aug. 26.

Rancho Laguna Road: Two girls were issued citations for marijuana possession at Morningside Drive at 12:48 p.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A $1,000 laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle after the rear window was smashed in the 2500 block at 8:20 a.m. Aug. 27.

South Coast Highway: A $3,000 saxophone was reported stolen from a vehicle after the window was broken in a parking lot in the 1600 block at 8:53 a.m. Aug. 27.

South Coast Highway: A laptop and briefcase valued at $1,500 were reported stolen after a vehicle in an underground lot had its window shattered in the 2000 block at 10:32 a.m. Aug. 27.

South Coast Highway: A Florida man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after driving erratically at Diamond Street at 8:13 a.m. Sunday.

Summit Drive: A forged check in the amount of $950 was reported in the 900 block at 12:14 p.m. Aug. 26.

Coast Highway: A 13-year-old girl was rescued from the ocean after yelling for help 50 feet offshore at 9th Street beach at 8:45 a.m. Aug. 25.

Coast Highway: A Turlock woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Montage Resort Drive at 2:12 a.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: A $3 beer was reported stolen by a man riding a skateboard at a market in the 30000 block at 6:27 p.m. Monday.

Montage Resort Drive: A Laguna Niguel woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 3:32 a.m. Sunday.

Scenic Drive: A $250 ship’s bell was reported stolen from a porch in the 30000 block at 9:12 a.m. Sunday.

Vista del Sol: A Lawndale man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday.

West Street: Two citations for drug possession were issued at Coast Highway at 3:02 a.m. Tuesday.
