Elizabeth Avedisian Kasper June 22, 1923 - Sept. 11, 2010

Elizabeth Avedisian Kasper born June 22, 1923, died September 11, 2010.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Richard Kasper, a retired Burbank Ophthalmologist, her son Dennis Kasper, her daughter Marilyn Beck and her grandchildren Ashleigh and Alexandra Kasper, and Matthew Davis and Lori Davis.

Betty and Dick have lived in Harbor Ridge of Newport Beach for 28 years. Betty was a person of very strong faith. She and her husband have been active members of the Mariners Church of Irvine and the St. Mary’s Armenian Church of Costa Mesa. In 1987 Betty and her husband created at Mariners Church a seminary trust fund that has assisted numerous seminary students and continues to do so. Betty was involved in many community and church related activities, had a keen intellect, a wonderful sense of humor and was an accomplished painter and sculptor. She is loved and will be remembered as a devoted, caring and loving wife, mother and friend by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25 in the Chapel at Mariners Church in Irvine. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the “Mariners Church Richard and Elizabeth Kasper Seminary Trust Fund” c/o Mariners Church 5001 Newport Coast Drive, Irvine, CA 92603.
