Area 1

Boat Canyon: A Costa Mesa woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 12:15 a.m. Sept. 17.

Cliff Drive: An injured sea gull was taken for treatment by animal control officers in the 300 block of Heisler Park at 10:01 a.m. Sept. 16.

Hillcrest Drive: A snack bar was reported vandalized in an apparent break-in attempt, causing $200 in damage, at Riddle Field in the 600 block at 3:24 p.m. Sept. 16.

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after police were called to break up a fight between three people at Beverly Street at 9:25 a.m. Sept. 15.

North Coast Highway: Liquor was reported stolen by the same suspect on two occasions from a market in the 600 block at 9:39 p.m. Sept. 17.

North Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen at a restaurant in the 300 block at 12:26 p.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A bottle of vodka was reported stolen at a market in the 600 block at 7:54 p.m. Saturday.

Wave Street: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle after the window was smashed in the 100 block at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

El Toro Road: One person was injured when two cars collided at the 73 Toll Road interchange at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A computer shipped by its owner from Massachusetts was reported to be missing its hard drive in the 20000 block at 11:02 a.m. Sept. 16.

Laguna Canyon Road: A gate was reported to be spray-painted by a vandal in the 2000 block at 3:19 p.m. Sept. 16.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Lake Forest man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after weaving on the road in the 900 block at 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of drinking in public at the dog park in the 20000 block at 5:56 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: One person was injured when a vehicle hit a tree in the 2000 block at 1:59 p.m.

Laguna Canyon Road: A bicycle was reported stolen in the 700 block at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A homeless man was issued a citation for battery after an altercation with another man at the Alternative Sleeping Location in the 20000 block at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday.

Broadway: A man was arrested on an arson warrant and held without bail at S. Coast Highway at 12:34 p.m. Sept. 15.

Broadway: A Covina man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after at traffic stop in the 300 block at 3:01 a.m. Saturday.

Broadway: A Coto de Caza man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 300 block at 1:39 a.m. Sunday.

Broadway: $3,000 in cash was reported stolen from a restaurant office in the 300 block at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday.

Cleo Street: A Huntington Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 100 block at 1:58 a.m. Sept. 17.

Laguna Avenue: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic collision at South Coast Highway at 10:21 p.m. Saturday.

Legion Street: A Florida woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop on South Coast Highway at 9:18 p.m. Sept. 17.

South Coast Highway: A San Clemente woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after hitting another vehicle in the 500 block at 4:32 p.m. Sept. 17.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing in the 500 block at 6:24 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested after a disturbance at a bar in the 300 block at 12:12 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A Rowland Heights woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 600 block at 3:46 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A San Luis Obispo man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after reportedly trying to start fights and steal liquor at a bar in the 600 block at 8:24 p.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: An Orange man was issued a citation for soliciting employment at Main Beach in the 100 block at 10:55 a.m. Monday.

Thalia Street: Two people were issued citations for being minors in possession of alcohol at Thalia Street Park in the 100 block at 12:25 a.m. Sept. 17.

Thalia Street: An Anaheim woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 12:34 a.m. Saturday.

Anita Street: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 2:27 a.m. Sunday.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: A baby rattlesnake was taken into custody by animal control officers in the 800 block at 11:29 a.m. Sept. 16.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: Trees were reported chopped in the 900 block at 4:51 p.m. Sept. 17.

Glenneyre Street: A Lake Forest man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 1400 block at 3:34 a.m. Saturday.

Oak Street: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 11:15 p.m. Sept. 16.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, and medics were called to remove a bottle cap from his nose, at Nyes Place at 2:39 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A $39 pumpkin was reported smashed at a nursery in the 1300 block at 9:11 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A Long Beach woman was issued a citation for public intoxication after she and a male companion were reported to be bumping into store shelves in the 1200 block at 5:03 p.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A man was issued a citation for public urination in the 1700 block at 9:34 a.m. Monday.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after an incident at an emergency room in the 30000 block at 4:19 a.m. Tuesday.

Coast Highway: A homeless man was issued a citation for public intoxication in the 30000 block at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday.

Eagle Rock Way: Firefighters were called to a fully-involved home fire in the 20000 block at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 15.

Dumond Drive: A swimmer was rescued by lifeguards after being reported in distress 100 yards out to sea at Victoria Beach in the 100 block at 4:42 p.m. Saturday.

West Street: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 1:57 a.m. Saturday.
