Area 1

Jasmine Street: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 12:07 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: Two women were accused of stealing $40 worth of alcohol at a market in the 600 block at 7:28 p.m. Oct. 14.

North Coast Highway: A chinchilla stole and purse, valued at $780, were reported stolen from a shop in the 1000 block at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 15.

North Coast Highway: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting alcohol and marijuana possession at a market in the 600 block at 7:35 p.m. Oct. 15.

North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found on the ground at Jasmine Street at 12:334 p.m. Sunday.

North Coast Highway: Two people were injured after a SUV struck a Mini Cooper from behind in the 1200 block at 2:46 p.m. Sunday.

North Coast Highway: Fraudulent credit charges in Florida amounting to $320 were reported by a victim in the 600 b lock at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday.

El Toro Road: A two-vehicle collision was reported, but no medical aid was required, at Laguna Canyon Road at 12:12 a.m. Oct. 16.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 600 block at 11:05 p.m. Oct. 13.

Laguna Canyon Road: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public in the 20000 block at 5:23 p.m. Oct. 15.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Rancho Santa Margarita woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 600 block at 1:39 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A man who was reported to be drunk and unresponsive was taken to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach for treatment from the Alternative Sleeping Location in the 20000 block at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday.

Llewellyn Drive: A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle, an $85 loss, in the 1300 block at 8:24 a.m. Oct. 13.

Beach Street: A notarized document was reported to be altered fraudulently in the 200 block at 10:53 a.m. Oct. 14.

Broadway: A woman was arrested on a warrant for public intoxication after allegedly threatening to hurt people at the bus depot in the 300 block at 6:39 p.m. Oct. 13.

Coral Drive: A dead deer was reported at Pacific Avenue at 7:21 a.m. Sunday.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of hitting someone with a rock during a fight in the 200 block at 11:44 a.m. Tuesday.

Hillview Drive: $200 worth of real estate signs were reported stolen in the 2000 block at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday.

Morningside Drive: A snake was taken into custody by animal control officers in the 1300 block at 3:38 p.m. Oct. 13.

Park Avenue: A 10 foot by 25 foot area was reported vandalized with graffiti, causing damages of $500, at a high school in the 600 block at 10:23 a.m. Oct. 15.

South Coast Highway: Men were accused of trying to catch seagulls with bait at Main Beach in the 100 block at 4:57 p.m. Oct. 15.

South Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa woman was arrested on suspicion of defrauding an innkeeper and resisting arrest after allegedly leaving a restaurant in the 300 block without paying a $40 bill at 9:19 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A Huntington Beach man was arrested on a battery charge after allegedly punching the owner of a bar in the head, causing a laceration, after being escorted out of the location in the 300 block at 7:18 p.m. Sunday.

St. Ann’s Drive: A homeless man was issued a citation for allegedly blocking the entry to a church in the 300 block at 5:24 a.m. Oct. 15.

Anita Street: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block at 11:47 a.m. Oct. 15.

Catalina Street: A homeless man was issued a citation for drug possession at Diamond Street at 1:18 a.m. Sunday.

Moss Street: A Connecticut man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 10:09 p.m. Oct. 15.

Mountain Road: A house was reported egged in the 500 block at 9:40 p.m. Saturday.

Oak Street: Two computers and a briefcase, totaling $2,800, were reported stolen from a home in the 400 block that was entered through an unsecured door at 2:32 p.m. Oct. 13.

Ruby Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 12:13 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of impersonation after police responded to an altercation at a bar in the 1000 block at 12:21 a.m. Oct. 14.

Summit Drive: $150 was reported stolen from a home in the 700 block at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday.

Van Dyke Drive: A computer was reported stolen from a home in the 900 block at 4:35 p.m. Oct. 13.
