Lions Club collecting pajamas for children

The Huntington Beach chapter of the Lions Club is participating in a pajama drive for at-risk children.

The Huntington Beach Host Lions Club is collecting new pajamas for children taken into protective custody.

Organizers are looking for nightwear for infants up to teens that will be distributed to various county agencies and organizations that assist the homeless.

The Huntington Beach Host Lions has about 70 members who meet bi-monthly to identify the needs of the community and work on ways to meet those needs.

To donate, go to or call club President Sandi Gleason at (714) 299-3639.
