More eateries to open at Fashion Island

More options are becoming available to casual diners at Fashion Island with the opening of two new restaurants in the shopping center’s food court, the Atrium Cafes.

Hana Grill, a gourmet Japanese restaurant with a casual setting, will open its first Orange County location at the end of this month, according to a press release.

Hana Grill serves teriyaki bowls, sushi rolls and other items. Many menu items are made-to-order on a teppan grill in front of the customer.

Also slated to open is Stone Oven, coming in spring 2011. The eatery serves gourmet sandwiches made with flatbread that’s baked on-site, along with fresh salads.

While the two new eateries are moving into the food court, upscale coffee and lunch spot Pain du Monde moved to a new location within the center near the Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s courtyard in November.
