Area 1

North Coast Highway: A brandished weapon was reported in the 100 block at 1:21 a.m. Tuesday. A male reportedly flashed a knife at a Mobil employee after not finding the items he was looking for.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon Road: A traffic accident was reported in the 3200 block at 2:53 p.m. Aug. 31. A BMW ran into a building, and no injuries were reported. The driver supposedly mistook the gas pedal for the brake, which caused the crash.

Broadway Place: A Lake Forest woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:08 a.m. Sept. 2.

San Tropez Court: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 300 block at 9:29 p.m. Sept. 2.

Laguna Canyon Road: Battery was reported in the 20000 block at 5:58 p.m. Sunday.

Area 3

Forest Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 300 block at 9:06 a.m. Aug. 31. Laguna Sun Tanning Salon reported that a suspect broke a window to gain access and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

Laguna Avenue: A homeless man was reportedly throwing beer bottles at female pedestrians at 11:25 p.m. Aug. 31.

South Coast Highway: A woman reported that fish were dying inside the building formerly occupied by Mosun at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday. The woman said that Mosun still has a saltwater tank with fish inside. She said they are gasping for air and dying because the tank is not hooked up properly. She was reportedly upset over the cruelty of leaving the fish there to die.

Area 4

Agate Street: A traffic collision between a blue Vespa and a Honda Civic was reported near Glenneyre Street at 5:08 p.m. Monday. The Vespa driver reported minor injuries but refused medical aid.

Agate Street: A woman was reportedly passed out in a car in the 100 block at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday. A person reported that her engine was running and music was on loud. They tried tapping the window, but she didn’t wake up. Other witnesses reported she had been there since 4:30 p.m.

Area 5

South Coast Highway: A Ladera Ranch woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI near Montage at 12:34 a.m. Sept. 1.

Wesley Drive: A Laguna Niguel woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:09 a.m. Sept. 1. She had two priors and was held on $15,000 bail.

Vista del Sol: An Anaheim man was arrested for drug-related charges near South Coast Highway at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 1. The charges included possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation or selling methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia.
