Man arrested for suspicion of possessing stolen property

A man wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle was arrested Tuesday morning in Costa Mesa.

Costa Mesa police arrested Anthony Thomas Guerrero, 26, of La Mirada, at 9 a.m. on suspicion of possession of stolen property and a parole violation at Newport Boulevard and 19th Street.

Police have been searching for Guerrero since Feb. 1 after the authorities received a call reporting two men in a red Volvo possibly selling drugs near Tustin Avenue and 18th Street.

It was discovered that the Volvo was reported stolen from Costa Mesa and Adon Lee Woodward, 26, of Costa Mesa, was arrested.
