Vivian Muriel Vallely
1919-2012

Vivian Vallely, a 70-year resident of Balboa Island, passed away peacefully April 6, 2012 of natural causes. Vivian was born February 27, 1919 in Los Angeles, CA and she attended Eagle Rock, CA schools.

In 1942, she married her husband, Roland, who pre-deceased her in 2003. Together they owned and operated Vallely Boat Rental. She was an original member of the Irvine Coast Country Club (Newport Beach Country Club) where she was an avid golfer and bridge player. She was also a member of the Newport Harbor Chapter of Children’s Home Society and the Assistance League of Newport-Mesa.

Vivian is survived by her loving family: daughter, Joan Carr of Corona del Mar; son, John (Karen) of Newport Beach; grandson, Eric (Suzanne) of Costa Mesa; great-granddaughter, Vivian; nephews, Howard Hall (Kathleen) of Balboa, and Frank Hall (Sharon) of Norco.

Private services will be held with arrangements by Pacific View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Vivian’s memory, to: Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, 9272 Jeronimo Road, #107A, Irvine, CA 92618, or to a charitable organization of your choice.
