Police seek information on Newport burglary suspect
The Newport Beach Police Department is seeking the public’s help in apprehending a man suspected of a May 18 burglary.
Video surveillance from where the robbery occurred at the Versailles condominiums’ management office, in the 900 block of Cagney Lane, shows a white male, 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 160 pounds with a thin build, mustache and dark hair, according to a police news release.
Several tools were stolen from the closed community’s maintenance room, according to the release.
Anyone with information about the suspect or his location is asked to call Det. Tracy McKenzie at (949) 644-3761 or the Police Department’s hotline at (800) 550-6273. Messages may be left anonymously.
