Russell B. Nunneley entered into Eternal Life Saturday, May 19, 2012. Russell passed away at Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital with his daughter by his side. Russell was born August 18, 1921 in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Pomona College then served in the Army Air Corps. Russell owned and operated Silco Coatings in Ontario, CA., for over 30 years. Retiring in Costa Mesa, Russell enjoyed time with his family as well as playing golf with friends at Mesa Linda in Costa Mesa. He also attended Mariners Church and had many great memories with his wife Lucille and the Fellowshippers.
Russell is survived by his 94 year old sister Lucille Cantrill of Yuba City and his sister-in-law Esther Nunneley of Bakersfield; his daughter, Gayle Holbrook and her husband Thomas Holbrook; his granddaughter, Lauren (Brad) Anderson; and his grandson and roommate, Thomas Chase Russell Holbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
