Laguna Beach is holding another Open for Business workshop to foster communication among existing and prospective business owners later this month.
The next workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Susi Q Center, 380 Third St.
"Many prospective business people want to discuss their issues before they initiate formal applications with the city," Anne Johnson, planning commissioner and workshop coordinator, said in a news release. "Just discussing their concerns and issues informally seems to help."
As a result of last year's workshops, several new businesses moved into Laguna Beach, and others are planned.
Workshop participants will include Johnson, Planning Commission Chairman Robert Zur Schmiede, Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kristine Thalman and city planner Monica Tuchscher.
For more information, contact Tuchscher at (949) 497-0745 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
