Former Long Beach St. Anthony and Huntington Beach standout Meghan McIntyre had a team-high 24 points to lead the Golden West women’s basketball team to a 123-19 win over Los Angeles Southwest in its home opener on Tuesday in a nonconference game.

Bella Caiazzo, who played out her preps career at Ocean View, had 14 points for the Rustlers (3-0). Emma Mehus had 11 points, and Isis Benjamin and Kristen Beall each scored 10 points off the bench.

Golden West is averaging 108.7 points per game, having also earned wins over Palo Verde and Copper Mountain to start the season.
