Chase Dionio provided a full line of 24 points, seven assists, five steals and five rebounds to send the Newport Harbor High School girls’ basketball team past Godinez 59-11 on Tuesday in the Pacifica Mariner Mayhem Tournament.

Cydney Jover had 12 points and four rebounds for Newport Harbor (6-2). Emma Coatsworth scored six points to go with 12 rebounds and two blocked shots, and Emma Fults had four points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

Laguna Beach 38, St. Margaret’s 31: Sophie Marriner had a team-high 14 points, 15 rebounds and four steals for the visiting Breakers on Tuesday in a nonleague game.

Elaina Seybold added 10 points, 12 rebounds and two steals for Laguna Beach (4-1), which has won four in a row.

Kate Cheng scored six points to go with 10 rebounds and four blocks, and Kenna Rudolph also scored six points for the Breakers.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Corona del Mar 54, Kennedy 39: Dylan Rogers scored 13 points for the Sea Kings in Tuesday’s Artesia Tournament game on the road.

Sanjay Tewari added 12 points for CdM (2-0).

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Marina 3, Estancia 0: The Vikings blanked the Eagles on the road in both teams’ nonleague season opener Tuesday.

Marina hosts Long Beach Wilson on Thursday, while Estancia plays at Los Amigos.

Orange Lutheran 3, Pacifica Christian Orange County 1: Senior Leila Bahnsen scored for the Tritons on Tuesday in a nonleague road match.

Sophomore Talia Proctor had the assist for Pacifica Christian, which fell to 1-1. The Tritons beat La Quinta 4-0 last week in their season opener.
