Key Lobos: Sr. RB/DB Gerardo Saldivar (56 rushes for 402 yards, two TDs); Jr. QB/LB Alex Ocegueda 15 for 35 for 227 yards, three TDs, four INTs).

Breakdown: Costa Mesa saw its season end last year against Los Amigos when the Lobos beat the Mustangs, 38-7, in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Southern Division playoffs ... Los Amigos is coming off two straight tight games, beating Godinez, 21-18, Aug. 31, and losing to Loara, 18-17, Sept. 8 ... Costa Mesa lost to Katella, 21-13, last week, when the Mustangs’ rally fell short. Costa Mesa outscored Katella, 10-0, in the second half ... Estancia is playing at Jim Scott Stadium Thursday night against Irvine, so Costa Mesa will try to beat Los Amigos at Orange Coast College.
