IRVINE — Junior forward Jasmine Bernard had a game-high 14 and eight rebounds to lead the host Anteaters in the exhibition game Tuesday.
Sophomore guard Jennifer Tsurumoto chipped in 12 points, while freshman forward Mokun Fajemisin had 11 points, four rebounds, three steals and a block.
Sophomore forward Camille Buckley added eight points and eight rebounds for the winners, who open their regular season Friday at Santa Clara.
UCI opened a 37-17 halftime lead and held the neighboring NAIA school to 20.9% field-goal shooting (14 for 67).

Hawaii tournament
PRINCEVILLE, Hawaii — UC Irvine is in second place heading into Wednesday’s final round of the Warrior Wave Intercollegiate at Makai Golf Club.
The Anteaters are six-under-par as a team (570), three shots behind Baylor after Tuesday’s second round.
UCI senior Michael Yang is fifth individually with a 36-hole total of four-under-par 140. UCI sophomore Pete Fernandez, who eagled the par-five 18th hole Tuesday, is 12th with a two-round total of 143.
Albin Choi of North Carolina State is the top individual at 137.
