Youth Scene: CBA earns big win

Laguna Beach Little League’s Crescent Bay Advisors collected a big win Saturday at Laguna Hills Community Center Park.

Adam Kerfoot hit two, inside-the-park home runs to spark a 13-4 victory over the host Laguna Hills Hawks in a AAA Division game. The homers were two of three hits delivered by Kerfoot, who also tripled. Cooper Noriega also had three hits in a three-for-three performance and both Aidan McDennon and Paxton Burzell had two hits.

Booker Frith pitched five innings and allowed only one run.

The win increased CBA’s record to 10-0-1.
