Evan Cassolato was two for five with two runs batted in and Mikey Duarte drove in two runs for the winners (15-23), who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Cole Kreuter had two hits, while Calvin Faucher notched his 10th save.

The Toreros are 27-12.

Antelope Valley 2, Vanguard 0

The host Anteaters left nine runners on base and recorded six hits in the nonconference game Tuesday.

Trai Patrick had a double to lead six Lions with hits.

Vanguard is 30-19.

Antelope Valley is 30-16.

Fullerton 5, Golden West 1

Jeremiah Vison was one for three with one run batted in to lead the host Rustlers in the Orange Empire Conference game on Tuesday.

Golden West (18-20, 8-11 in conference) had three hits and five errors.

Fullerton is 17-21, 5-14.

RIVERSIDE – UC Irvine junior Haley In finished sixth and the Anteaters were seventh among eight teams in the 54-hole event concluded Tuesday at Oak Quarry Golf Club.

In shot 221, while sophomore Janet Yeo was 10th at 224 and junior Breanne Jones was 16th at 226.

UCI’s team score was 905, 19 behind victorious Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
