Share

Where/When: 7 p.m. Friday at Garden Grove High.

Key Dolphins: Sr. TE/MLB Julian Casillas (34 tackles, one tackle for a loss); Jr. RB/MLB Matthew Lua Mu Poching (25 tackles, four tackles for a loss, three sacks, one fumble recovery); So. RB/DE Paris Debow (eight tackles, four tackles for a loss, three sacks).

Key Lobos: So. RB/DB Brian Pacheco (40 carries for 293 yards and two TDs; 12 tackles); So. RB/DB Joseph Garcia (25 carries for 112 yards; six catches for 34 yards; 21 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and six sacks); Sr. TE/LB Saul Robles (three catches for 35 yards; 28 tackles, five tackles for a loss, and one sack).

Breakdown: The point differential for both of these teams is not pretty, but the Dolphins (1-3) have played the tougher schedule. Dana Hills picked up its first win of the season, 26-12, over Santa Monica last week … Los Amigos has struggled to score this season, managing just nine points over its last two games. The Lobos (1-2) may be able to run the ball against a leaky Dolphins defense. Dana Hills allowed 40.3 points per game in three consecutive losses to begin the year … Without a big-play passing offense, the Dolphins need to avoid plays for negative yardage. Dana Hills strength lies with the pass rush, as six players have combined to record 13 sacks.
