Breakdown: Laguna Beach and Costa Mesa are both trying to bounce back from losses suffered last week in their respective Orange Coast League openers … The Breakers (1-5, 0-1 in league) lost to Godinez 38-14, while Costa Mesa (3-3, 0-1) fell to Calvary Chapel, 21-7 … Laguna Beach has lost five straight games overall since opening the season with a 48-21 win over Bolsa Grande … The Breakers have given up 36.4 points per game during the five-game losing streak … Costa Mesa has lost two straight, including last week’s setback that was Calvary Chapel’s first win of the season … The Mustangs lost to Laguna, 43-9, in the teams’ league meeting last year and have lost nine of their last 10 league games overall.
