Share

Where/When: 7 p.m. Friday at Segerstrom High.

Key Lobos: So. RB/DB Joseph Garcia (59 carries for 240 yards and one TD; eight catches for 46 yards; 25 tackles, seven sacks); So. WR/DB Adolfo Chavez (two catches for 32 yards; 10 tackles, two INTs); Sr. TE/LB Saul Robles (five catches for 52 yards; 33 tackles, six tackles for a loss).

Key Roadrunners: Sr. RB Bryan Osegueda (37 carries for 180 yards and one game of 100-plus rushing yards); Sr. WR Jacob Roa (eight catches for 132 yards); Kristian Valenzuela (one fumble recovery).

Breakdown: This is a matchup of two teams that have struggled mightily to get their offenses up and running. Since Brian Pacheco’s 236-yard rushing performance in Week 0 against Anaheim Fairmont Prep, Los Amigos (1-3) has posted 16 points over its following three games … Pacheco sustained a deep thigh bruise in the Lobos’ second game against Ocean View. Los Amigos coach Carl Agnew said that this is the first week that Pacheco has been able to practice fully. He will be limited, but he will play on both sides of the ball … Santa Ana Saddleback has scored just six points this season, but all of them came last week, and stranger things have happened for the home team in Homecoming games … Jerry Witte is back as coach of the Roadrunners (0-3). He previously coached the program for more than 25 years and delivered its only CIF-SS football crown in 1985.
