Pet Of The Week

Share

Brady

Brady is pictured this week in his black and orange jester costume. The white and tabby cat suffered for sometime. His eyelashes had been rubbing on his corneas until the rescue discount procedures cost of $2,200 was raised. The two procedures that removed his backwards lashes with a tiny electric probe were performed in the spring. Thanks to your support, Brady is no longer squinting in discomfort!

Community Animal Network’s Fashion Island pet adoption events sponsored by Russo’s Pet Experience are buzzing with school aged children from Ensign Elementary School for the next few weeks. They are on hand to complete a class project in community service.

Last weekend the children raised $151 to help local animals.

Community Animal Network has now received $671 toward a goal of $10,000 to support the vet medical needs of local animals. Last week four donors were quite generous in their giving.

See photos of other available animals online at https://www.animalnetwork.org or come to Fashion Island’s Russo’s Pet Experience, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday or Sunday, to meet the animals.

C.A.N. appreciates your contributions. With your help the network will not have to face the decisions of having to turn away animals like Brady that need help because funding is not available.

If you are able to help C.A.N. reach its goal please consider mailing your check to Community Animal Network, P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA, 92658 and memo the check “Support Local Animals” and nonprofit tax ID 33-0971560.
