Reservations due for Legacy Ball

Laguna Beach Seniors’ fifth annual Legacy Ball honoring former City Manager Ken Frank will take place March 25 at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast. There will be cocktails, dining and dancing and a silent auction featuring vintage donations and artwork worth $200 or more.

Music from the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s will be provided by the 17-piece South Coast Swing orchestra and the No Square Singers, and dress will be “vintage formal.” The fundraiser provides about 30% of the operating funds for the Susi Q Senior Center programs and services.

Attend a ‘Jeopardy’ taping

Seniors and others are invited to join in the studio audience for two episodes of “Jeopardy!” at Sony Studios in Culver City from 9:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. March 22. A stop for lunch will be made at the Howard Hughes Promenade before the taping. Audience members must be at least 18 and have ID. The cost is $48, including transportation and driver/tour director gratuity. For more information, call (949) 497-2441.

Restorative exercise class

The Pain Free Body, a restorative exercise class, will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. The class will help relieve aching muscles and joints, and allow participants to return to normal activities, according to a news release. AARP driver course offered

AARP will present a four-hour driver safety course for those who have taken the eight-hour driver safety course within the past three years, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. March 31 at the Susi Q Senior Center. The course focuses on safe driving strategies and defensive driving techniques. Course participants may be eligible to receive a discount on their auto insurance premiums.
