Buddah and his sister Sala arrived at the shelter in July as the result of a sad case of owner abandonment. We had hoped this sweet pair of 5-year-old Lab-golden mixes could be adopted together.
However, Sala recently found a home that did not have room to accommodate her brother. Now, Buddah is a single guy looking for new digs and a family of his own. He is a favorite with volunteers, who appreciate his calm and gentle personality.
For such a large dog, Buddah is surprisingly easy to walk and is friendly with virtually all humans as well as canines. He is house-trained, neutered and healthy, aside from a skin condition that may require treatment.
Come meet Buddah, whose adoption fees are being discounted 25% all week when you mention this announcement at the Orange County Humane Society, 21632 Newland St., Huntington Beach. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit http://www.ochumanesociety.com.
