Pet of the Week
How Gracie became a stray is another puzzling case of “Who could possibly lose track of such a sweet dog?”
Found near the coast in November, she arrived at the shelter amid an influx of several other Chihuahua mixes. Shelter volunteers expected that she would find a home quickly. However, adopters thus far have overlooked her, and again, no one knows why.
Gracie is about 4 years old, healthy, spayed and evidently house-trained. Quiet and affectionate with people, she is also well-behaved around other dogs. Take Gracie for a walk, and she will entertain you with her special trick — “handstands” on her front legs.
For her City Council appearance Monday, she selected this stylish pink jacket to show off her natural charm and petite 6-pound figure. Gracie’s adoption fees are discounted 25% all week when you mention this announcement. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
