Santa Claus came to town via lifeguard vehicle Saturday at Crystal Cove State Park.

Santa’s untraditional entrance was part of a Crystal Cove holiday tradition that also included a bazaar and the lighting of a Christmas tree on the sand.

This is the 23rd year that Crystal Cove has put a tree on the beach.
