Fountain Valley lit up its community holiday tree for the season Saturday.

The festivities at the city Recreation Center, 16400 Brookhurst St., included food, drinks, entertainment, crafts and games.

A visit from Santa Claus, story time and a snowy sledding area provided by Hyundai rounded out the event.
