A Huntington Beach man died Wednesday, about two weeks after his pickup collided with an SUV, according to Huntington Beach police.

Officers responded to the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Atlanta Avenue at about 8:40 a.m. Jan. 31 after receiving a report of a collision involving two vehicles.

Police said they suspect the 68-year-old man who died wasn’t wearing a seat belt while driving north on Brookhurst in a 2004 Toyota Tundra. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died from his injuries. He was not immediately identified by name.
