A Fountain Valley High School student is accused of stabbing a teenage girl at Edison High School and committing two sexual assaults in Huntington Beach, including one at Edison, authorities said.

Michael Meer, 18, of Huntington Beach was charged Tuesday with one count of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of sexual penetration by a foreign object and one count of mayhem, all felonies.

He also is facing misdemeanor counts of annoying or molesting a child younger than 18 and touching an intimate part of another person, along with a possible sentencing enhancement on allegations of inflicting great bodily injury, according to Orange County Superior Court records.

Huntington Beach police said Meer, who previously attended Edison High, was seen rollerblading on the campus at 21400 Magnolia St. between 5 and 6 p.m. Friday, hours after school had let out for the day.

Police allege he skated past a teenage girl and stabbed her in the back with a knife. She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police also allege that he skated up to another teen girl on campus and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities believe Meer also sexually assaulted a 39-year-old woman Feb. 28 while she was walking near the parking lot of a gym on Atlanta Avenue in Huntington Beach. Police say he was rollerblading then as well.

Meer was arrested Friday near Edison High and was booked into Orange County Jail in Santa Ana with bail set at $500,000, according to jail records.

He is expected to be arraigned April 6.

Police do not believe Meer was familiar with any of the victims before the incidents.

Authorities suspect there may be additional victims. Anyone with information about the cases is asked to call Eric Wiseman, an Orange County district attorney supervising investigator, at (714) 347-8794.
