“Many local residents are unable to find their lost pets simply

because they don’t know that Newport-Mesa has its own, very small animal

shelter at 2075 Newport Blvd. in Costa Mesa, inside the veterinarian

hospital called Dover Shores Pet Care Center,” said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin,

organizer of the Community Animal Network.

The beautiful, female longhair tabby pictured is waiting at the center

for the right home, Pfaff-Martin said. Many purebred dogs are also

waiting for owners to claim them, she said.
