Artists shut down Eagles, 7-1

Laguna Beach defeated the Eagles, 7-1, in a Pacific Coast League

baseball game Friday.

Laguna Beach pitcher Scott Youngstead tossed a six-hitter andstruck

out seven without a walk. He also went four for four at the plate.

The Artists improved to 5-2 in the PCL. The team had 13 singles off

Estancia pitcher Paul Flory.

The Artists remain atop the PCL, sharing the lead with University and

Northwood.
