Time for a Fiesta at Riddle Field

The end of the 2002 regular season at Laguna Beach Little League means

one thing: party.

Beginning today at Riddle Field, events will take place through

Saturday in celebration of the season that was.

At 5 p.m. today, the league will stage a home run derby for the

12-year-old players who are graduating from the Majors Division. That

event will be followed by a North-South game featuring the league’s

12-year-olds.

On Saturday, the league will hold Fiesta Day, its annual leaguewide

event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the playing field.

The day will include food and festivities, including a giant,

inflatable slide and obstacle course.

In addition, trophies and awards will be presented to individual

teams, and the league will announced its selections to the various 2002

division All-Star teams.
