Want to join high seas of drama?

Orange Coast College is calling all aspiring thespians to grab their swords and sheet music for an open audition for “The Pirates of Penzance.”

The college’s theater arts department is hosting auditions for its spring musical at 7 p.m. March 14 and 15 in the Drama Lab Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa.

The musical will be directed by Peter Uribe and will debut May 4 to 8.

Residents interested in auditioning should have a song prepared and bring sheet music to the tryout.
