Evicted man arrested for attempted entry into his former unit

A Newport Beach man was arrested early Tuesday after attempting to break into an apartment he had been evicted from.

Gilbert Charles Gorski, 54, was arrested early this morning.

Police received an emergency call at 3:56 a.m. from the 800 block of Santa Barbara Drive in Newport Beach, said Sgt. Steve Burdette.

Gorski had been arrested for attempting to break into his former apartment in the past.
