Running laps, raising funds
Newport Elementary School took to the outdoors Wednesday for a fundraiser. Students ran laps around the school’s blacktop overlooking the beach for the annual Jog-a-Thon. The event raised money for the Newport Elementary School Foundation to buy supplemental enrichment programs for the students.
