A Costa Mesa library near Lions Park is expected to close for four months at the end of the year.

The Costa Mesa Donald Dungan Library, 1855 Park Ave., will close Nov. 18 for construction, the city of Costa Mesa announced Wednesday.

The closure will allow a major support beam to be replaced. The construction is being funded by the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
