Senior goalkeeper Lindsey Luke had six saves to post her 13th shutout this season.

“We started a little tentative and a little bit of jitters of being in the playoffs,” CdM Coach Bryan Middleton said. “But we settled in the second half and picked up some more scoring chances.”

CdM (15-3-4), the Pacific Coast League champion, will play against Los Alamitos in the second round Tuesday at a site to be determined by a coin flip today.

“It would be an advantage if we were at home,” Middleton said. “But I have confidence that we can play right with them.”
