DUI suspect arrested after truck crashes into Huntington Beach bank
A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a truck slammed into the side of a bank early Sunday in Huntington Beach, police said.
Huntington Beach police responded to the Bank of America at 5812 Edinger Ave. at about 1:25 a.m. after receiving a report of the crash, said Officer Angela Bennett.
The driver, Enrique Ramirez, 38, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries before being taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, Bennett said. His city of residence was unknown.
No other injuries were reported.
The type of truck and circumstances of the crash were not immediately clear.
