Barney is a gentle 10-year-old shepherd mix, who came to the shelter as a stray last month.

He is well-behaved and enjoys his walks; he is good with people and other dogs, as long as they are not hyperactive or aggressive. This friendly guy somehow lost his home and, when he looks at you with those liquid brown eyes, you wonder how that could have happened.

However, Barney doesn’t dwell on the past. Now that he’s neutered, he’s ready to live out his golden years with someone who appreciates all his fine qualities.
