Pet of The Week

Share

The pretty black-and-white tuxedo cat named Keeley is part of Community Animal Network’s “Pets for Seniors” program, which provides mature cats to mature people.

The organization pays for the necessary veterinary medical treatments for any condition that may arise for the cats’ lifetime. A social worker will be available to drive the animal to the vet as needed, and will check in monthly to trim the cats’ nails and to ensure the animal is being taken care of.

This program is perfect for a senior person who wants a pet but is concerned with costs and the fact that an animal may outlive them.
