Stars Ethan Embry and Michael Gladis and writer-directors Adam and Evan Beamer will be in attendance at the screening of "In Security," a comedy shot in Brea. 8:15 p.m.; Lido Theatre.

Showcase Party

The Friday Night Showcase party takes place from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at Via Lido Plaza, 3417 Via Lido, Newport Beach. Guests will be treated to entertainment and hors d'oeuvres prepared by award-winning Newport Beach restaurants. Hosted bar by Stella Artois and Absolut.

Tickets are $45 for the party and any Friday Night Spotlight film, $30 for the party only and $18 for a film only. Ages 21 and over only; coats or jackets are recommended, as the event is outdoors. For tickets, visit
