Calico is a sweet-tempered 3-year-old American shorthair cat. Her name refers to her multicolored coat, not a distinct breed. When her owner died, a relative sought to care for Calico and her companion. Sadly, this household already had multiple cats, and the responsibility proved too much. Calico is calm and gets along nicely with other cats. She is now healthy, after successful treatment for ear mites, and has been spayed. Her soft coloring and quiet demeanor distinguish her from some of her more vivid and rowdy cat compatriots. Calico awaits a purr-fect new home. Throughout August, adoption fees are discounted 35% for all kittens and adult cats. About 40 are still available, with more arriving each week.
