Public invited to vote on next round of Newport Beach sculptures

The public can pick its favorites from among 51 works of art that are in the running for the next phase of the sculpture garden at Newport Beach’s Civic Center Park.

An online poll is available through Feb. 7 at sparkoc.com/nb_sculpture_poll. Voters must provide an email address and a ZIP code to choose up to three works.

The poll results will be considered by a judging panel that includes members of the city’s Arts Commission. The commission will make its picks Feb. 13 and present them to the City Council in March.

This will be the fifth phase of the rotating exhibit in the 14-acre park adjacent to City Hall. Up to 10 new sculptures will be showcased from May this year to June 2022.
